Here is Monday's Morning Message for August 31, 2026,

Good morning, Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Happy Monday to you.
This week I want to encourage you to pour out the ugly! Depending on
the translation you use, Psalm 55.22 can seem somewhat tame or almost
peaceful. But this was not David's intent when writing this verse. In the
original Hebrew, this verse literally translates, "Throw your burden on
the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be
shaken."
"Throw" translates from the Hebrew verb, "shalak," which means to
throw, hurl, or fling away forcefully. When you are wrestling with
your emotions, you don't have to be timid with the LORD. Stress,
anger, worry, doubt, whatever it is, your problems aren't too big for the
LORD and you aren't powerful enough to offend Him. So, hurl your
burdens at Him! Let Him have it! Write it down, scream into your
windshield when driving (alone or not), do whatever you have to do to
"throw" your burdens on the LORD. He will receive them and then He
will sustain you, which means He will provide for you, hold you up, and
nourish you. The LORD loves when His children rely on Him and when
we do, He graciously holds on to us so we won't fail.
