Here is Monday's Morning Message for September 15, 2025

Good morning, Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Happy Monday!
This week I want to encourage you to live prepared. 1 Peter 3.15 tells us
"but in your hearts honor Christ the LORD as holy, always prepared to
make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is
in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." Has anyone ever asked you
about your faith? Why you do the things you do or believe the things you
believe? Were you able to answer adequately? We are called to be prepared
for those questions with an answer that defends our faith but is also gentle
and respectful in the hope that our words soften the heart of the questioner
and will turn them towards Jesus Christ. Avoiding these types of questions
and choosing not to answer can be costly. St. Matthew 10.33 reminds us that
"Whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny before My Father who is in
heaven" So, when questioned about your faith stand ready with your answer
but offer it with gentleness and respect.
